Petition papers are sheets of paper used in spell work as a way of communicating with the Deities or Spirits. These papers are usually inscribed with a written wish or request for help and guidance on a particular issue. Petition papers can be placed under a candle or lamp, added to a mojo bag or bottles, or used in any other ritualistic way to aid in the manifestation of your desires.
In the past, petitions were created using cloth or brown paper bags. These materials were readily available to my indigenous ancestors and lower-income witch doctors who practiced the ancient rite. Over time, it was discovered that paper also has its own energy and the specific type of paper used could impact the success of the ritual being performed.
To create your petition, write the person's name or your intentions on a slip of paper three times. Then, turn the paper ninety degrees clockwise and write the name or intention again three times over the top of the first ones. Your petition paper should be dressed with suitable oil blends. Writing can be done with our hand-fixed magical inks (coming soon!!).
